The TCL Q6 and TCL S455 both perform adequately for watching news and talk shows due partly to their upscaling capabilities which is significant considering the content might not always be high-resolution. However, the TCL S455 has better upscaling and fair color accuracy out of the box which is beneficial for such programs, while the TCL Q6 offers very good SDR brightness for better visibility in brighter rooms but with a slightly less accurate color presentation straight out of the box.
