If you're looking for better overall picture quality and gaming performance, the TCL R646 would be a superior choice. It also performs better in bright rooms, which can be important if you often watch TV during the day or in well-lit environments. However, the TCL R646 comes at a midrange price, which is higher than that of the Vizio MQ6 '23. The Vizio MQ6 '23 is more affordable and still offers decent performance for movies and general TV content, including cartoons and animation. It also has lower input lag, which is beneficial if you're planning to use it as a monitor. For a more immersive audio experience, neither TV has great built-in speakers, so you might consider external sound solutions for either option.
