If you are on a tight budget and looking for the most affordable option, the Toshiba C350LU might be the better choice, though it generally offers poorer performance across most content types, including movies, sports, and gaming. However, it supports more HDR formats which could enhance certain content if utilized. The TCL S455, while costing more, provides fair performance across a variety of content and has better dark room performance due to its excellent black uniformity. Both options will struggle in bright rooms and neither excels in gaming, but if spending less money is a priority and you require extensive HDR format support, the Toshiba could serve you well.
