The TCL S435 (LCD) has a number of advantages over the TCL S350G (LCD), including better color accuracy out of the box and support for higher resolution inputs, which makes it more suitable for content in 4K resolution. However, the S435 falls behind in sound quality, so if audio is important to you and you won't be using an external sound system, you might prefer the S350G despite its poorer picture quality. On the other hand, if budget is your primary concern and you are mostly watching standard definition content, like news or reality TV, the cheaper S350G might serve you well. Neither of these models is particularly well-suited for a bright room, for gaming, or for watching sports, so if those aspects are important to you, you may want to consider other options.
