If you prioritize picture quality for movies and handle premium content better, such as HDR format Dolby Vision, the Sony A80K OLED would be an excellent choice with its superior overall picture quality, particularly in dark rooms. Its OLED technology provides excellent contrast and black levels. However, for well-lit environments, the Toshiba C350LU's brighter screen might be more suitable, but at the cost of significantly lower picture quality. The Sony A80K excels in gaming with very good responsiveness, which is important for fast-paced games, whereas the Toshiba C350LU performs poorly in this aspect. For sports and fast-action content, Sony's motion processing is superior. The Toshiba might be an option if you are on a tight budget and primarily watch news or other less demanding content, but it has poor color and upscaling capabilities. If you're an avid gamer, enjoy movies in the best quality, and can invest more, the Sony A80K would be a compelling option. If budget is a constraint and you're less concerned about top-notch picture quality, the Toshiba C350LU could suffice, while acknowledging its limitations in various content types. Give Feedback

USA Today

Michael Desjardin | December 2022
"It’s a high-end TV through and through something that becomes clear the moment you glance at its stunning picture. The A80K’s surgically precise contrast control is likely the first thing you’ll notice about its picture ... every piece of content looks better when this amount of precision is available. Color accuracy is another strong suit; the A80K features fantastic out-of-the-box color accuracy in the Custom picture mode."
