Choosing between the Samsung N5300 and Vizio V-Series '22 depends on your preferences. The Samsung N5300 offers very good viewing angles making it suitable if you often watch TV from different positions in the room, whereas the Vizio has excellent color calibration right out of the box which is great for realistic colors without the need for manual adjustments. The Vizio supports a wider range of HDR formats including HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and is HGiG compatible, making it a better choice if you consume a lot of HDR content on streaming platforms or gaming. If gaming performance is a priority, the Vizio also has a very good response time and fair input lag, making for smoother gameplay. For room conditions, the N5300 has a fair reflection handling which could be useful in moderately lit rooms while the Vizio's performance in bright conditions is not specified. Keep in mind that neither TV is particularly suited for dark room viewing, as both have poor local dimming and black uniformity. Sound quality is only fair in both, so an external sound system would enhance the viewing experience. The Vizio’s HDMI ports offer slightly more connectivity, which might be beneficial if you have multiple devices to connect. Give Feedback

About Samsung

Samsung, a South Korean electronics manufacturer, holds the title of being the largest global TV vendor in terms of units sold. They offer a diverse lineup of TV products that cater to various budget ranges. A notable achievement in recent years is the development of Quantum Dots, a technology that enhances color reproduction, resulting in richer and more vibrant hues. Samsung TVs are well-regarded for their high manufacturing quality and user-friendly software, making them an excellent choice for consumers seeking an intuitive viewing experience.

About Vizio

Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
