If you're looking for a more affordable option, the Vizio D-Series is less expensive and offers good cartoon and animation viewing, along with excellent color accuracy out of the box. However, it falls short in gaming, bright room performance, and sound quality. On the other hand, the Samsung N5300, while more expensive, provides a very good viewing angle making it better for wider seating arrangements, and it has a better sound with higher speaker power. Neither TV is particularly strong in dark or bright settings, and both are fair for watching sports, but the Samsung is more versatile as a monitor with its better chroma subsampling support.
