If you're looking for a more affordable option, the Samsung Q80C is less expensive and offers good gaming performance and a strong quality control score. However, it might not perform as well in a bright room. The TCL R648, while more expensive, provides better overall picture quality, superior dark and bright room performance, and has great speakers built in. It's also better suited for cartoon and animation content. But, it may not be the best value if you're mainly interested in using the TV for news or talk shows.
