If you prioritize outstanding picture quality for movies and gaming, along with excellent performance in darker rooms, the Samsung S95C OLED TV is worth the higher price. However, it may not be as bright as some LCD TVs, affecting its performance in very sunny rooms. On the other hand, the Sony X77L LCD TV is much less expensive and performs decently for sports and general content, but it significantly underperforms in dark rooms and doesn't offer the same level of picture quality or gaming performance as the Samsung.
