The Samsung S95B is an OLED TV and generally offers superior picture quality, which makes it excellent for movies and series, with perfect blacks and wide viewing angles. It also performs exceptionally well for gaming due to its low input lag and fast response time. However, it is typically much more expensive and might not be as bright as some LCDs, making it less ideal for very bright rooms. The TCL R646, on the other hand, is an LCD TV with a miniLED backlight. It comes at a midrange price, making it more budget-friendly. This TV has better brightness than the OLED, which is advantageous in bright rooms. Still, it has a lower picture quality overall, especially in dark rooms where blacks aren't as deep. Its performance is also less impressive for gaming. If high picture quality for movies and gaming is your priority and you're okay with a higher price, go for the Samsung S95B.
