The Samsung S95B OLED TV is exceptional for movies and cinematic TV thanks to its superior contrast, perfect black uniformity, and excellent local dimming capabilities which are crucial for dark scene reproduction. On the other hand, the Sony X95K LCD TV also offers very good performance for similar content with notable contrast and local dimming, but it cannot reach the absolute black levels of OLED, making it slightly less ideal in very dark scenes.
