If you value exceptional picture quality in movies and series and prefer a TV that performs very well in dark rooms with deep blacks, the Sony A90K OLED is an excellent option. However, it is not as bright as some alternatives, so it may not be the ideal choice for very sunny rooms. On the other hand, the Samsung QN90C LCD shines in bright room performance and has a higher SDR and HDR brightness which makes it a strong contender for daylight viewing and has generally more resilient screen reflections handling. It also seems to offer better sound quality with more powerful speakers. Remember, the OLED technology of the Sony provides superior contrast and viewing angles, but it comes at a higher cost compared to the Samsung, which offers a good blend of features for usually less money. Your preference for types of content such as sports, gaming, and various TV shows will also influence which one suits you better, as OLEDs have better motion handling but LCDs are often more budget-friendly.
