If you want better dark room performance, movie watching, and HDR gaming, the Samsung Q60A is a good choice, despite its higher cost. It offers good overall picture quality with strong contrast and effective upscaling for high-definition content. However, for brightly lit rooms or if cost is a key concern, the Vizio V-Series might be a more suitable option although it has a poorer bright room performance. Both TVs are similar for gaming due to poor response time and input lag, but for general TV watching, cartoons, and animation, they perform adequately. Neither is exceptional for sports due to fair motion processing and viewing angles. Keep in mind that neither have great speaker quality, so you might consider external speakers for better sound. "Vizio's cheapest 4K HDR TV packs in a lot for a low price. The voice control via the remote works well, about as well as Roku's version on devices that have it. So if you know your way around a TV menu, or want to be able to dial in the picture even on an inexpensive TV, the Vizio is the better choice"
