If saving money is a priority and you want a TV that performs relatively well in bright rooms, the Samsung Q60A is a reasonable choice. However, if you can stretch your budget slightly, the Samsung Q60B offers improved color accuracy and better performance for HDR content due to its support for HDR10+ and HGiG, which enhances gaming HDR. Both TVs have similar features like good upscaling and 60Hz refresh rate, but neither is ideal for gaming due to high input lag. The Q60A might not be as future-proof as the Q60B, lacking in newer HDR formats, but is still capable for everyday viewing and has decent sound. Keep in mind, if you watch TV in a darker room or from wide angles, neither of these models will perform exceptionally well. Give Feedback

Geoffrey Morrison | June 2021
"The least expensive QLED is a solid choice for Samsung fans. Right out of the gate my eye was drawn to the Samsung. It is bright. The quantum dots let the Q60A produce far deeper, richer colors than the Vizio and TCL"

CNET

David Katzmaier | June 2022
"Samsung's 2022 QLED workhorse shines in bright rooms and with HDR. The Samsung Q60B stands out from the slew of entry-level TVs with an ultra-thin frame, a skinny profile from the side and even narrow stand legs. The Q60B is a very good bright-room TV, and my subjective impression of its ample light output was proven by measurements."
