If you prioritize overall picture quality and gaming performance, the LG C1 is an excellent choice. It offers superior contrast, better viewing angles, and lower input lag which is ideal for serious gaming and dark room viewing. However, the LG C1 comes at a higher cost. On the other hand, the TCL S546 is more budget-friendly and still provides decent picture quality. It has a higher SDR brightness which may make it better for viewing in bright rooms. The TCL S546, while offering good contrast and color volume, falls short with its limited local dimming and lower black uniformity which can affect dark scene portrayal, and its viewing angles are narrower, making it less ideal for a broad seating arrangement.
