If price is your main concern and you need a smaller TV, the Vizio D-Series could be suitable. It is less expensive and offers fair picture quality and good performance for watching cartoons and animations, with decent capability in bright rooms. On the other hand, the LG G2, although more expensive, offers very good to excellent performance across most content, including movies, sports, and gaming. It shines in both dark and bright rooms, and it has superior color and contrast. However, if sound quality is important and you don't plan on using external speakers, the G2 has better built-in speakers. Additionally, the LG G2's OLED screen provides wider viewing angles and supports advanced features like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which enhance the viewing experience significantly compared to the Vizio's LCD screen. If you're an avid gamer or enjoy high dynamic range content, the LG G2's higher refresh rate and advanced gaming features would offer a much better experience. Give Feedback

Stephen Withers | June 2022
"When it comes to picture quality alone, the LG G2 is absolutely among the best OLED TVs we've ever seen. You're getting a set that's basically impeccable across every aspect of its performance, it's truly one of the best TVs on the planet. The Brightness Booster Max technology really pays dividends to set it apart from the crown. The LG G2 is a superb OLED TV that delivers exceptional HDR performance with bright specular highlights, and incredibly accurate dynamic tone mapping."

Techradar

Nick Pino | July 2021
"A Full HD TV that has the wits of most 4K TVs at a bottom-barrel price point. It has decent black levels thanks to its full array lighting and the above-par brightness will surprise you. Compared to the competition, the Vizio D-Series is probably the most affordable TV out there from a reputable manufacturer which makes it compelling."

About LG

LG, a prominent TV brand from Korea, has played a significant role in popularizing OLED TVs. OLED technology is hailed as the future of TV technology. Their TVs employ WebOS, a proprietary smart TV software that not only offers seamless functionality but also includes gaming-specific features, earning praise from players worldwide. Often regarded as the gateway to unparalleled viewing experiences, LG's mid-range OLEDs come highly recommended, making them a worthwhile investment for those willing to stretch their budget for superior quality.

About Vizio

Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
