If saving money is your priority and you're looking for a smaller TV for basic viewing in a darker environment, the Vizio D-Series could suit your needs, despite its limitations in brightness and gaming. However, if you're willing to invest in higher quality for a richer viewing experience across movies, sports, and games, especially in well-lit rooms, the LG C2 offers superior picture quality and performance. The LG C2 also has advanced features like better color, contrast, and viewing angles, making it ideal for varied use, though at a higher cost. Give Feedback

CNET

David Katzmaier | November 2022
"The C2 offers image quality that's a clear step above any non-OLED TV I've seen. The C2 is rare among high-end TVs in that all four of its HDMI ports support 4K/120, great for hard-core gamers with multiple next-gen devices. The C2 is plenty bright enough for just about any viewing environment. It also outperforms QLED TVs like the Samsung QN90B and TCL 6-Series. That's why I consider the LG C2 the best high-end TV for the money of 2022."

Techradar

Nick Pino | July 2021
"A Full HD TV that has the wits of most 4K TVs at a bottom-barrel price point. It has decent black levels thanks to its full array lighting and the above-par brightness will surprise you. Compared to the competition, the Vizio D-Series is probably the most affordable TV out there from a reputable manufacturer which makes it compelling."

About LG

LG, a prominent TV brand from Korea, has played a significant role in popularizing OLED TVs. OLED technology is hailed as the future of TV technology. Their TVs employ WebOS, a proprietary smart TV software that not only offers seamless functionality but also includes gaming-specific features, earning praise from players worldwide. Often regarded as the gateway to unparalleled viewing experiences, LG's mid-range OLEDs come highly recommended, making them a worthwhile investment for those willing to stretch their budget for superior quality.

About Vizio

Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
