If you're on a tight budget and primarily watch TV shows or need a simple set for casual viewing, the TCL S334, being much less expensive, could suffice. However, for a superior viewing experience with excellent picture quality in both dark and bright rooms, and top-notch performance for movies, gaming, and sports, the LG C2 is better, although it comes at a midrange price. The LG C2 also offers better viewing angles and reflection handling, which is ideal if you have a wide seating arrangement or a brightly lit room. Keep in mind too that the LG C2 has features like Dolby Vision and a higher refresh rate, which are significant for a high-quality home theater and gaming setup but will cost more. If high-quality audio is important to you, note that both TVs may require a separate sound system, as they don't have great built-in speakers. Give Feedback

CNET

David Katzmaier | November 2022
"The C2 offers image quality that's a clear step above any non-OLED TV I've seen. The C2 is rare among high-end TVs in that all four of its HDMI ports support 4K/120, great for hard-core gamers with multiple next-gen devices. The C2 is plenty bright enough for just about any viewing environment. It also outperforms QLED TVs like the Samsung QN90B and TCL 6-Series. That's why I consider the LG C2 the best high-end TV for the money of 2022."

About LG

LG, a prominent TV brand from Korea, has played a significant role in popularizing OLED TVs. OLED technology is hailed as the future of TV technology. Their TVs employ WebOS, a proprietary smart TV software that not only offers seamless functionality but also includes gaming-specific features, earning praise from players worldwide. Often regarded as the gateway to unparalleled viewing experiences, LG's mid-range OLEDs come highly recommended, making them a worthwhile investment for those willing to stretch their budget for superior quality.

About TCL

TCL, the highly recognizable TV brand from China, has firmly established itself as the second-largest manufacturer in terms of sales volume. Renowned for striking an impressive balance between affordability, picture quality, and design, TCL TVs deliver a compelling overall package. While they have traditionally excelled in the low-end and midrange TV segments, TCL has recently made remarkable strides in the realm of high-end televisions, introducing impressive models that rival top competitors. Most TCL TVs use Roku software which is very user friendly and easy to use, but they have a few other models that use Google TV which has the largest app selection, but is not as user friendly as Roku.
