If your primary concern is overall picture quality for movies and you often watch in darker environments, the TCL S546 would be a better fit as it performs well in those areas. However, if you plan on using the TV in a bright room and value good viewing angles, for say, a family gathering where people are seated at different angles to the TV, then the LG UQ7570 might serve you better despite its lower picture quality because of its higher bright room performance and wider viewing angles. Both TVs have their limitations when it comes to gaming and sports content, with the TCL S546 performing slightly better. For connectivity, the TCL has an additional HDMI port. Neither option excels in sound quality, so if audio is important to you, consider a separate sound system regardless of the TV you choose.
