If you're focused on getting the most value for your money and you're okay with average picture quality, the LG UP7000 may suit you, as it is less expensive. However, it doesn't perform as well in dark rooms. For a better overall viewing experience with higher picture quality, especially in bright rooms, the Samsung Q60B is a better option. It also has better color performance out of the box and supports a wider range of HDR content, though it does cost more. Neither TV is particularly well-suited for gaming, but both are acceptable.
