If you value picture quality, especially for watching movies and series in a darker room, the LG A2 OLED may be a better choice due to its superior contrast and black uniformity. However, this TV comes at a higher price. For gaming, both TVs perform similarly well, so if gaming is your primary concern and you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the TCL S546 could suit your needs. In bright rooms, neither TV is an outstanding performer, but they have competent brightness and reflection handling for most situations. If you watch a lot of sports, the LG A2 offers a slightly better experience due to its higher motion processing capability. Keep in mind that both TVs have a 60Hz screen, which may not be ideal for high-frame-rate gaming. If you need a TV that doubles as a computer monitor, both TVs support 4k at 60Hz at a 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, but the TCL S546 has a lower score in this area.
