The LG A2 OLED offers excellent contrast and black uniformity, making it ideal for movies and in dark rooms. OLED technology also gives it wide viewing angles suitable for group watching. On the other hand, it's pricier and not as bright in well-lit rooms. The Sony X95J, an LCD TV, is usually less expensive and performs better in bright rooms, thanks to its higher brightness. It's great for sports and gaming with a higher refresh rate and more HDMI ports. The Sony X95J LCD, on the other hand, excels with its motion processing and has very good reflection handling which helps when watching in bright rooms, but has somewhat narrower viewing angles compared to the LG A2.

Images had the deep blacks and detailed shadows typical of the best 4K TVs, while colors looked both fully saturated and clean.
