The LG A2 OLED is a high-end TV with excellent overall picture quality, great for movies and watching in dark rooms. However, it is not as good in bright rooms and is generally more expensive. The Sony X85K LCD has good overall picture quality for a midrange price, performs well for gaming and sports, and is better suited than the A2 for bright rooms. It's also less expensive but doesn't work as well in dark room settings and is slightly less equipped for movie viewing. If budget is not a concern and you prioritize superior picture quality in darker settings, the LG A2 OLED might be the right choice. But if you're looking for a more affordable option that handles bright environments well and offers good gaming performance, the Sony X85K LCD could be a better fit. Give Feedback

Techradar

Al Griffin | August 2022
"Movie fans will find a lot here to love, and the A2 series’ low prices compared with other OLED TVs will keep their wallets happy. Images had the deep blacks and detailed shadows typical of the best 4K TVs, while colors looked both fully saturated and clean. Also, the A2’s out-of-box picture performance in Filmmaker mode was mostly accurate, requiring only slight adjustments to optimize brightness, color, and contrast."
