The LG A2 is an OLED TV, which means it generally offers better overall picture quality and is excellent for movie-watching, especially in dark rooms due to its perfect blacks. It also has a wide viewing angle, making it ideal for rooms where viewers will sit at various angles to the screen. On the other hand, the LG UR9000 is an LCD TV that costs less and is better for bright rooms, though the picture quality is not as good as the OLED, particularly in dark settings. This TV may be more suitable for watching sports due to its decent motion handling but doesn't perform as well for gaming or general movie-watching compared to the A2 OLED. If you prioritize picture quality and typically watch content in darker environments, the LG A2 would be the better choice, despite its higher price. However, if you are cost-conscious and mostly watch TV in a well-lit room, the LG UR9000 could be the more appropriate choice for you. Give Feedback

Techradar

Al Griffin | August 2022
"Movie fans will find a lot here to love, and the A2 series’ low prices compared with other OLED TVs will keep their wallets happy. Images had the deep blacks and detailed shadows typical of the best 4K TVs, while colors looked both fully saturated and clean. Also, the A2’s out-of-box picture performance in Filmmaker mode was mostly accurate, requiring only slight adjustments to optimize brightness, color, and contrast."
