If you're looking for a TV with better overall picture quality and color performance for animated content, consider the Samsung CU8000. It also has a slightly more robust sound capability and supports newer HDR formats which could enhance certain content. However, LG UP7000 might be more cost-effective and provides a better gaming experience with lower input lag, and it has better gray uniformity, which is good for sports watching. Neither TV excels in very bright rooms or dark rooms, and they are equally matched on speaker power and similar in many other aspects.
