If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Samsung CU7000 is less expensive and offers better overall picture quality and gaming experience. It also handles dark rooms better and has superior quality control. The Samsung has additional HDMI port and features like voice commands for accessibility. On the other hand, the LG UP7000, while generally more expensive, performs better in bright rooms and offers slightly better quality for watching sports. It also has better color accuracy out of the box and performs well for watching cartoons and animation. Both TVs support HDR content, but neither supports premium HDR formats like HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. If sound quality is important to you, note that neither TV has particularly great speakers, so you might consider an external sound system regardless of your choice. Give Feedback
