If price is your main concern and you're looking for the most affordable option, the LG UQ7570 could be a suitable choice, especially if you're in a room that doesn't get a lot of light as it performs poorly in bright conditions. On the other hand, the Samsung AU8000, while usually more expensive, offers slightly better performance in a variety of content including sports and fair performance in bright rooms. However, if gaming or watching movies in a dark room is important to you, both TVs don't excel in these areas, with poor dark room and gaming performances. Neither TV is particularly great for vibrant colors or contrast. If you're using the TV in a living space with various lighting conditions and want a more well-rounded performance, the Samsung might be worth the extra cost, while for basic TV watching in less lit rooms or if budget is tight, the LG could suffice. USA Today

Michael Desjardin | April 2023
"To put it directly: you’d never see a mid-range 4K TV hitting this black levels half a decade ago. AU8000 plays the part of a higher-end TV thanks to its sleek design. If you’re upgrading to a smart TV for the first time, the software is a great way to dip your toes in the streaming water."
