If you prefer a better overall quality for watching movies and high-performance gaming, the Samsung Frame Series is a superior choice, albeit at a premium price. It provides better picture quality and lower input lag, enhancing gaming experience, which is important if you're into console or PC gaming. However, it won't perform as well when viewed at wide angles, so if your room setup means viewers will often be off to the sides, this could be a drawback. On the other hand, the LG UP8000 is much more affordable, making it an attractive option if you're budget-conscious. While it offers decent performance for general viewing, sports, and bright room usage, it does fall behind the Samsung Frame Series in overall picture quality and gaming. Additionally, the LG UP8000 has a better viewing angle than the Samsung, so if you have a wide seating arrangement, it may be the better option. Bear in mind that neither TV has local dimming, which can impact contrast and black levels, especially in dark rooms. Both TVs also support basic HDR formats but lack HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, which could affect the HDR experience. If sound quality is important for you, the Samsung Frame Series has a more powerful speaker setup. However, for connecting multiple devices, the Samsung Frame has one extra HDMI port than the LG UP8000. Give Feedback

Stratos Kampourogiannis | July 2021
"What we liked on this one was the very sharp 4K images it could display, its good up-scaling capabilities, nice viewing angles and extremely low input lag. Lastly the new webOS 6.0 is great even if it needs some time to get your bearings while the redesigned Magic Remote feels fresh even if functionality remains the same."
