Considering your options between the Samsung The Frame 2022 and the LG UP7000, it is important to note where each excels and where compromises are made. The Samsung The Frame is designed for those who value aesthetics and have a well-lit room; it doubles as art with interchangeable frames but requires wall mounting. It offers better overall picture quality, with better brightness in SDR content and superior upscaling; this makes it suitable for bright rooms and watching movies, news, or animations. Gaming and viewing at wide angles, however, are not its strengths. On the other hand, the LG UP7000 costs less but comes with compromises in picture quality in nearly every aspect, particularly in dark room settings, sound quality, and colors out of the box. It doesn't handle reflections as well as the Samsung and also requires a well-lit room for best viewing experience. If you're on a tighter budget and mostly consume content in a bright room, the lower cost of the LG may justify its lackluster performance compared to the Samsung. Give Feedback

CNN

Tobey Grumet | May 2023
"The biggest, and most jarring, difference is the revolutionary matte, anti-glare coating on the 2022’s display. Not only does it solve my daytime glare problem of being in a corner apartment, but it somehow adds texture to anything being displayed. The Frame is a home run for anyone looking to add fashion to their function."
