If you're on a tight budget and need a basic TV, the Insignia F20 might serve your needs; however, its performance in picture quality, gaming, sports, and dark or bright room settings is not strong. On the other hand, the LG A1 is more expensive but offers an excellent viewing experience for movies and sports, with superior picture quality, especially in dark rooms, though it is only fair in bright rooms. Keep in mind, the LG A1 is also better for gaming and has more advanced features like HDR support, but if cost is a crucial factor, the Insignia F20 could be sufficient for casual viewing in environments without challenging lighting conditions.
