If you're on a tight budget, the Insignia F20 2024 may be appealing; however, it generally has poor performance across most content types and viewing conditions. Its larger screen size options, better color and contrast, and superior performance in dark and moderately lit rooms make the Vizio M-Series a better choice for a more immersive experience when watching movies or engaging in other viewing activities. The Vizio also supports advanced HDR formats, which improves the viewing experience for HDR content, but that comes at a higher cost. Keep in mind that neither TV is particularly suited for gaming due to their lower response times and input lag. If sound is a concern, the Vizio has better speakers. Ultimately, the Vizio offers a more complete package for various content types and viewing environments, justifying its higher price compared to the Insignia's lower cost but limited capabilities. Insignia is an in-house brand from BestBuy. It offers a range of TV sets that are lower-end and smaller size. They are manufactured in China by Hisense, which is another TV brand. Insignia TVs use Amazon's Fire OS as the smart TV software, providing users with a highly user-friendly experience.
About Vizio
Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast.
