If you're on a tight budget and want to save as much as possible, the Insignia F20 2024 (LCD) will be the more wallet-friendly option. However, if you don't mind spending a bit more, the TCL S450F (LCD) provides a boost in many areas like an excellent black uniformity, which may present a more uniform color and shading across the screen, and a better response time which is ideal for fast-moving content. The better input lag of the TCL means it's more suitable for gaming, although still not top of the line. The TCL also supports a wider variety of HDR formats—useful if you consume a lot of different content and want more flexibility. In a bright room, the TCL offers fair performance, whereas the Insignia performs poorly, so the TCL would be the better choice for well-lit environments. Keep in mind, the Insignia has a smaller screen at 32 inches compared to the TCL's 43 inches, which could make a significant difference if you prefer a larger display for a more immersive viewing experience.
