On the other hand, if budget is a concern, the Hisense U8K LCD is less expensive and still offers good overall picture quality. It has higher brightness which makes it better suited for bright rooms, and it also boasts great gaming performance. However, keep in mind that it may not match the LG's performance in dark room settings and its viewing angle is narrower, meaning the picture quality can diminish when viewed from the side. The LG G3's superiority in watching movies and cinematic TV is due to its perfect black uniformity and superior viewing angles inherent to its OLED technology, alongside top-notch contrast and local dimming capabilities. While the Hisense U8K offers very good contrast and excellent black uniformity with its LCD screen, it falls short in viewing angles and local dimming compared to the LG G3, and although both TVs present very good colors out of the box and color volume, the LG's OLED panel ensures better consistency across different viewing positions.
