If you are prioritizing a great movie watching experience and have a darker room, the Hisense U8H's superior contrast and black levels may appeal to you, despite its higher price tag. On the other hand, the TCL QM8 offers a very good picture quality at a lower cost, and additionally, it supports higher gaming refresh rates, which is beneficial for gaming enthusiasts. The QM8 also comes equipped with voice commands for ease of use. When considering bright room usage, both TVs perform well but keep in mind that the Hisense has better reflection handling, which can be advantageous if your room has many light sources.
