If you are looking for better overall picture quality, including higher brightness levels for both standard and high dynamic range content, the Hisense U7H would be the more suitable option, particularly if you're a gamer or enjoy watching movies and series where local dimming and good contrast can enhance your experience. It offers superior motion processing and a lower input lag, which is beneficial for gaming.
However, if budget is a primary concern and your viewing habits include general TV programs or you plan to use the TV in a darker room, the Vizio V-Series could be enough for your needs. It's generally less expensive, but with tradeoffs in picture quality and gaming performance. Both TVs have limitations in a bright room, but the Hisense U7H performs slightly better.
For connectivity, Hisense provides more HDMI ports, but neither TV has notably excellent built-in speakers. If you're considering using a TV as a monitor, both support this functionality with certain limitations in chroma subsampling—important for text clarity.
In summary, choose the Hisense U7H if you prioritize higher performance and features in gaming and picture quality over cost, but opt for the Vizio V-Series if your aim is to meet basic viewing needs while staying budget-conscious. Give Feedback

How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Vizio V-Series (LCD) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."
"Vizio's cheapest 4K HDR TV packs in a lot for a low price. The voice control via the remote works well, about as well as Roku's version on devices that have it. So if you know your way around a TV menu, or want to be able to dial in the picture even on an inexpensive TV, the Vizio is the better choice"

About Hisense
Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.
About Vizio
Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
