If you prioritize gaming, the Hisense U7H could be a better fit as it's designed with features that cater to responsive gameplay. For watching sports, the Vizio M-Series offers slightly better performance, which could be important if you're a fan of fast-paced action. Both TVs are suitable for movies and general TV watching, but keep in mind that the Hisense may provide a modestly better experience in well-lit rooms thanks to its slightly superior handling of reflections and brightness. However, the Vizio comes with a slightly better overall picture quality. Both are similarly priced in the lower midrange, but the Vizio could be slightly more expensive. Give Feedback

The Hisense U7H (LCD) is good for gaming, while the Vizio M-Series (LCD) is only fair.
The Hisense U7H is better suited for gaming because it has a higher refresh rate, supporting the smoother motion necessary for fast-paced action, and lower input lag, which means less delay between pressing a button and seeing the action on screen. The Hisense U7H (LCD) is very good for news, talk, & other TV, while the Vizio M-Series (LCD) is good.
The Hisense U7H offers better upscaling and SDR brightness, which are very important for watching news and daytime TV shows, ensuring a clear picture even from low-quality sources and in well-lit rooms. The Vizio M-Series (LCD) and Hisense U7H (LCD) are both only fair for sports.
The Hisense U7H has a slower response time which can result in more blur during fast sports scenes, and its reflections handling is only fair, meaning it may not be the best choice for bright rooms. The Vizio M-Series also has fair reflection handling but offers better motion processing which can make fast action in sports appear smoother, although it has a narrower viewing angle which might limit the view for larger groups.

How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Vizio M-Series (LCD) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."

About Hisense
Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.
About Vizio
Vizio is an American company. While they initially gained recognition for offering budget-friendly TVs, they have successfully expanded their product lineup to include high-end options as well. They manufacture TVs primarily in Mexico, China, and Vietnam. Similar to many Korean TV brands, Vizio developed its own smart TV software called SmartCast. In the past, SmartCast was not the best smart TV software, but it has evolved so that it is now good for using your TV and connecting to streaming services.
