The Hisense U7H is more affordable and provides a solid overall picture quality, making it suitable for gaming and watching movies and series. It performs adequately in bright rooms and has good sound quality, but it's less impressive for sports content due to subpar performance in that area.
In comparison, the Sony X95J is priced at the premium end and offers superior picture quality across the board, which makes it better for watching sports and movies with better performance in bright rooms. It also has great sound with powerful speakers and excels in upscaling and motion processing for a smoother viewing experience.
If budget is a concern and you prioritize gaming and general movie watching, the Hisense U7H would be a practical choice. If you are willing to invest more for an enhanced viewing experience, particularly for sports and content in bright rooms, with better motion handling and better built-in audio, the Sony X95J may be the preferred option. How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Sony X95J (LCD) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."
