If you prefer watching movies and animations, the Hisense U6K might be appealing with better performance in dark rooms and better overall picture quality. On the other hand, the TCL S450F stands out with excellent black uniformity which is important for movie watching as well. For gaming, neither TV is ideal; the Hisense offers fair gaming performance while the TCL has poor gaming capabilities. When considering sports, both TVs offer fair performance. In bright rooms, both TVs perform fairly, but if you often watch TV in very bright conditions, you might need to look elsewhere. The Hisense has additional features such as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, which the TCL lacks, but it's at a higher price point. If budget is your primary concern, you could enjoy significant savings with the TCL without notable loss in quality for general content, but if you can invest more for a better viewing experience for movies and animation, the Hisense might be worth the extra cost.
