If you prioritize overall picture quality, dark room performance, and gaming, the Hisense U6G would be a better fit although it's more expensive. It offers better quality for movies and sports viewing, and has a higher contrast which is great for dark room viewing. Nevertheless, if affordability is key and you mostly watch in a brightly lit room, don't need advanced gaming features, and are satisfied with fair picture quality, the Insignia F30 is a suitable, less costly alternative. Neither TV is ideal for wide viewing angles, so consider seating arrangements. Both support HDR, but the Hisense supports more formats, which might enhance your viewing experience if you watch varied content. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Insignia

Insignia is an in-house brand from BestBuy. It offers a range of TV sets that are lower-end and smaller size. They are manufactured in China by Hisense, which is another TV brand. Insignia TVs use Amazon's Fire OS as the smart TV software, providing users with a highly user-friendly experience.
