If you're looking for a TV within a budget and don't mind compromising on picture quality, the TCL S450G could save you money. However, keep in mind that its performance in both dark and bright rooms is poor and is not ideal for sports or gaming. On the other hand, the Hisense R6G performs slightly better overall with fair picture quality in movies, sports, and cartoons, and has good color out-of-the-box, but also falls short in bright rooms and gaming experiences. Both models have limited brightness and might not bring out the best in high dynamic range (HDR) content. Neither are great for gaming due to high input lag. For general TV watching and occasional movie nights, the Hisense could be a more versatile option, though it's more expensive. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.
