If you're on a budget and need a TV that's good for general use like watching news or cartoons, the Hisense R6G is a more affordable option, although it performs poorly in bright rooms and has lower quality for sports, games, and high dynamic range (HDR) content. On the other hand, if you're willing to invest more for superior picture quality, especially in dark rooms, and better performance when watching movies or sports, the LG A2 OLED would be the better choice, with the tradeoff being it's at a higher price point. The LG A2 also offers better viewing angles and motion processing, which is suitable if you often watch TV with a group or care a lot about the smoothness of motion in content. "Movie fans will find a lot here to love, and the A2 series’ low prices compared with other OLED TVs will keep their wallets happy. Images had the deep blacks and detailed shadows typical of the best 4K TVs, while colors looked both fully saturated and clean. Also, the A2’s out-of-box picture performance in Filmmaker mode was mostly accurate, requiring only slight adjustments to optimize brightness, color, and contrast."
