If you prioritize top-tier picture quality and plan to watch movies or play games in darker environments, the Sony A90K with its superior contrast, color accuracy, and viewing angles might suit you, although it's not as bright in sunny rooms. On the other hand, if you're looking for a larger screen at a lower cost and need a brighter display for well-lit rooms, the Hisense U7H could be appealing, with the compromise on picture consistency and viewing angle stability. Both have good gaming features, but for the ultimate cinematic experience, especially in dark settings, the Sony is the better fit, provided the price difference is justifiable for you. Give Feedback

How the Hisense U7H (LCD) and the Sony A90K (OLED) compare to other TVs
"We loved the Hisense U7H. It was able to deliver an excellent all-around image quality in its price range. The TV excels at controlling its backlighting in a way that ensures you’ll never experience blooming to a level of being distracting, something that I was a little surprised to see given the lack of Mini LED. The TV doesn’t just get decently bright it offers relatively accurate color reproduction for a TV in this price range. The TV is being billed excellent for gaming."

About Hisense
Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.
About Sony
Sony stands as a highly experienced and widely trusted TV manufacturer, earning a reputation that surpasses all others. A Japanese company, Sony has been making TVs for far longs than it has been making Playstation game consoles. Sony's high-end TVs are often regarded as the ultimate choice for videophiles, representing the epitome of quality, albeit at a premium price point. Renowned for their advanced and precise motion handling, as well as their cutting-edge local dimming algorithms, Sony consistently delivers unparalleled performance in these areas.
