If saving money is your top priority and you don’t need advanced features, the TCL S355 is less expensive and might suffice, especially for casual viewing in less-lit spaces. However, the Hisense U6K offers better overall picture quality and is more suitable if you enjoy movies and animated content, or if you plan to use the TV in rooms with some ambient light. For gaming or using the TV as a monitor, the Hisense U6K has better functionality. Additionally, if future-proofing with higher resolution and HDR support is important to you, the Hisense is the better choice despite the higher cost.
