The Hisense U7G generally offers better overall picture quality, and it's particularly stronger in gaming, bright room performance, and color handling. If you're a gamer or you plan to watch TV in well-lit environments, the U7G with its higher brightness and better reflection handling may be the better choice. Additionally, it supports a higher refresh rate which can be beneficial for certain gaming and fast action content. On the other hand, the Hisense U6K is often less expensive and still performs well for movies and general viewing, especially in dark rooms. If you're looking to save money and your primary use is watching movies or you'll be viewing in a darker environment, the U6K might be sufficient. Both options are quite similar in many other respects, including support for various HDR formats, having the same number of HDMI ports, and not having great built-in speakers, so you may want to consider a soundbar for either TV. In summary, for better gaming and brighter room performance, consider the U7G, but if you want to save money and mostly watch movies in darker environments, the U6K could be suitable. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.
