If your priority is a better overall viewing experience for movies or series and you prefer deep blacks and good performance in the dark, go for the Hisense U6H. However, if sports viewing is more important to you and you need wider viewing angles, the LG NANO75 might be more suitable, particularly if you often have a large group of people watching from different angles. The Hisense U6H generally costs less, but the LG NANO75 has a slightly better performance in bright rooms and less reflection handling. Neither TV is particularly excellent for high-end gaming, but the Hisense has a slight edge in this respect. Keep in mind that the Hisense U6H has one more HDMI port than the LG NANO75, which could be useful if you have multiple devices to connect. Give Feedback

Tom's guide

Matthew Murray | March 2023
"A budget TV that exceeds expectations. (...) For a TV that costs as little as this one does, its brightness and color are above-average (...) The U6H may not get quite as bright as its splashier siblings, but for its class, it fares pretty well. (...) As far as input lag, the U6H is an impressive performer. (...) Costing less than most of its direct competitors, and matching or bettering them in several key areas, it’s an irresistible value proposition. (...)"

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About LG

LG, a prominent TV brand from Korea, has played a significant role in popularizing OLED TVs. OLED technology is hailed as the future of TV technology. Their TVs employ WebOS, a proprietary smart TV software that not only offers seamless functionality but also includes gaming-specific features, earning praise from players worldwide. Often regarded as the gateway to unparalleled viewing experiences, LG's mid-range OLEDs come highly recommended, making them a worthwhile investment for those willing to stretch their budget for superior quality.
