If you're looking for a TV within a tight budget, the Insignia F30 2024 could save you some money compared to the Hisense A4H. The Insignia also offers better support for HDR content and has an additional HDMI port, which could be useful for connecting multiple devices. Both TVs have their limitations, such as poor overall picture quality and performance in gaming, sports, and dark settings. If a brighter room is a concern, both TVs are challenged but the Insignia fares a bit better. For use as a monitor, the Insignia has better chroma subsampling support, which means clearer text and better detail overall. Give Feedback

About Hisense

Hisense, a Chinese TV manufacturer, entered the US market in approximately 2011 and has since acquired TV divisions from various companies such as Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi, and NEC. Currently ranking as the fourth largest vendor in terms of sales volume, Hisense aims to capture a wide range of TV budget segments. They offer exceptional value with TVs that often outperform their competitors at similar price points, making them a compelling choice for consumers. In the US, they use Google TV as their smart TV software which provides the largest app selection and a very modern user interface, however it is not as user friendly as the software from other vendors.

About Insignia

Insignia is an in-house brand from BestBuy. It offers a range of TV sets that are lower-end and smaller size. They are manufactured in China by Hisense, which is another TV brand. Insignia TVs use Amazon's Fire OS as the smart TV software, providing users with a highly user-friendly experience.
