If you're looking for a TV and your budget allows for a slightly higher expense, the Samsung Q60A would be a better option, especially if you watch in well-lit rooms or enjoy cartoons and animation, as it provides a brighter screen for bright environments and performs better with animated content. It's also better for gaming, although it's still rated poorly, and it has good color accuracy right out of the box. However, if you predominantly watch movies or play games in darker rooms where reflections and viewing angles are less of a concern, and your budget is tight, the Amazon 4-Series could suffice despite its overall poor performance in most categories. Additionally, if having an extra HDMI port is important for connecting more devices, the Amazon 4-Series comes with four HDMI ports as opposed to Samsung's three. Give Feedback

Tech Advisor

Jim Martin | May 2023
"The attraction here is that the 4-Series uses Amazon’s Fire TV interface. Picture quality is good but unexceptional. At the discounted prices, which can seemingly be had regularly, they are better value."

CNET

Geoffrey Morrison | June 2021
"The least expensive QLED is a solid choice for Samsung fans. Right out of the gate my eye was drawn to the Samsung. It is bright. The quantum dots let the Q60A produce far deeper, richer colors than the Vizio and TCL"
