If you're looking for a phone with a higher refresh rate for smoother scrolling and graphics, the Motorola Moto G100 is the better option as it has a 90Hz screen, whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note20 has a standard 60Hz screen. However, the Note20 features an OLED screen that typically offers more vibrant colors and deeper blacks compared to the LCD screen on the G100. The Note20 also has better overall camera quality, supported by features like a 64MP telephoto lens and HDR10+ video recording. For battery life, the difference is minimal but the Note20 has a slightly longer battery life. Both phones have 128GB of storage and share features like plastic bodies and 5G capabilities, but only the Note20 offers wireless charging and a stylus. The Moto G100 is generally less expensive, so if budget is a major concern and you can forgo the extras like wireless charging, the G100 could be the better value for you. Give Feedback

Mike Lowe | March 2021
"A budget gaming-capable phone that foregoes the AMOLED screen hype and camera cost implications to deliver a half-price near-flagship that, in use, adds up to oh so much more. Even plugging away at games for hours at a time doesn't cause too much trouble where battery is concerned. The 5,000mAh cell is a big part of the reason for the G100's above average weight, but it's a great capacity to have at your fingertips."

Mike Lowe | October 2020
"We think pretty much anyone picking up the Note 20 to take photos will be very happy with the sharpness and appearance of the shots. If you're looking for a phone with an integrated stylus then there's little better than the note-taking potential of this phone. Sure, its 'glasstic' rear and lack of higher refrsh-rate screen are little red marks against its specification, but you can buy the step-up Ultra model if you see that as a problem - although we prefer the smaller price and smaller camera lump of this 'entry' Note model."
