Considering the higher price of the Google Pixel 8 Pro, you would benefit from its glass body, superior cameras offering better still photo and video quality, and the inclusion of features like wireless charging, all of which are not available on the Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023). On the other hand, the Moto G Stylus comes with more storage capacity at a budget price, includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a built-in stylus, and a plastic body which could be more durable against drops. Both phones have similar battery life, large screens, and run on Android, but the Pixel has a higher refresh rate and OLED display for brighter and more vibrant visuals compared to the LCD screen on the Moto G Stylus. If camera performance and premium features are less critical for you, the Moto G Stylus offers a good value with its additional storage and practical features at a lower cost. Give Feedback

The Guardian

Samuel Gibbs | October 2023
"The screen, body, performance and battery life are all good. The Pixel has a distinctive look that elevates it from the many of the competition, too. It has a really great camera system, with an array of advanced AI-infused editing tools that blur the line between what’s real and what’s fake. But the biggest upgrade is in the full seven years of software support, bringing the Pixel up to par with Apple and outlasting all but the Fairphone 5 on the Android side."

Tom's Guide

John Velasco | July 2023
"Now in its third generation iteration, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) takes the incremental step of being taken more seriously — backed by a cleaner design, upgraded chipset, and a 120Hz display refresh rate. What makes it different from other phones today is that it’s packaged with a stylus that tucks inside of the phone when it’s not being used."

About Google

Google can be considered a relatively new player in the smartphone industry, joining as late as 2016 with their phone, the Google Pixel. Since then, the Pixel lineup has undergone many changes, but it has always been characterized by a focus on photography and clean software, by providing a pure Android experience. By virtue of Google being the creator of the Android operating system, Pixels are known for receiving timely software updates and for being supported with updates for a long time. Additionally, over the past few generations of devices, Google started designing their own processors. This allowed for the implementation of unique software features that are not present in any other phone, such as automatic call screening and unique voice transcribing capabilities.

About Motorola

Motorola, a well-known name in the smartphone world, has a long-standing legacy in the industry, with a history dating back to the early days of mobile phones. The brand is mostly known for striking a balance between affordability and functionality, as well as providing a clean and straightforward interface with their software skin on top of Android. While they have traditionally been prominent in the budget and midrange categories, Motorola has also occasionally ventured into the high-end category for smartphones.
