If you value a superior camera for both photos and videos, the Google Pixel 6 Pro would be a great choice, as it has a higher overall camera quality including a 50MP main camera and the capability to record 4K videos at 60fps. It also has a glass back, a slightly larger and higher-resolution OLED screen, more RAM, a faster refresh rate, and is a bit lighter in weight. However, the Motorola One 5G Ace offers a significantly longer battery life and it comes at a budget-friendly price with a plastic back and a decent 48MP main camera. This phone is also compatible with a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the Pixel 6 Pro. Both run on Android and were released relatively close to each other, with the Motorola One 5G Ace being slightly older. Choose the Google Pixel 6 Pro if camera and screen quality are your priority and you are okay with a higher price, or opt for the Motorola One 5G Ace for a more affordable phone with better battery life and a headphone jack. James Peckham | August 2022
"The Google Pixel 6 Pro has one of the best screens you’ll find on a smartphone, and you’ll get a bright and bold picture no matter what you’re doing. That’s a big deal for many, and for some it may be reason enough to buy this phone. Its main sensor is fantastic, the telephoto is strong and there are new exciting software features too."

TechRadar

Mark Knapp | February 2021
"The Motorola One 5G Ace is on the affordable side, but you don’t get a phone that will expire quickly. It proves plenty speedy for most uses, and has 5G support to get you onto the latest cellular technology. With a 6.7-inch display, the Motorola One 5G Ace is about as big as they come. The display is plenty bright, as sharp as it needs to be, and even offers HDR to round out the package."

About Google

Google can be considered a relatively new player in the smartphone industry, joining as late as 2016 with their phone, the Google Pixel. Since then, the Pixel lineup has undergone many changes, but it has always been characterized by a focus on photography and clean software, by providing a pure Android experience. By virtue of Google being the creator of the Android operating system, Pixels are known for receiving timely software updates and for being supported with updates for a long time. Additionally, over the past few generations of devices, Google started designing their own processors. This allowed for the implementation of unique software features that are not present in any other phone, such as automatic call screening and unique voice transcribing capabilities.

About Motorola

Motorola, a well-known name in the smartphone world, has a long-standing legacy in the industry, with a history dating back to the early days of mobile phones. The brand is mostly known for striking a balance between affordability and functionality, as well as providing a clean and straightforward interface with their software skin on top of Android. While they have traditionally been prominent in the budget and midrange categories, Motorola has also occasionally ventured into the high-end category for smartphones.
